A Nigerian soldier has shared the touching reason behind his unusual daily routine at a POS withdrawal stand.

According to the soldier, the guard once asked him why he made daily withdrawals instead of withdrawing enough money to last several days.
In response, the soldier explained:
“This account is linked to my mum’s phone number. Every time I withdraw money, she receives a message. That’s how she knows her son is alive.”
