The president has been floating the idea of running for a third term, even going so far as to print merch for a supposed 2028 campaign.
Amid the world leader’s wild ambition, he continues to face impeachment threats as Democrats fight to gain control of the House of Representatives.
4Trump finally put to rest reports he was gunning for a third term while speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews earlier this week.
When asked if he was “serious” about contesting again, the president answered, “Everybody asks me that question. You know that the law is very strong on that. I’d love to run, but the law is very strong.”
Trump reiterated that he was always asked about running for a third term wherever he went. “Even tonight, they’re screaming at the event 2028! No, everybody wants me to do it, but the law is very strong,” he added.
Trump Praised For Accepting And Respecting The Law
Trump’s acknowledgment of the Constitution’s two-term limit on the presidency drew reactions from his critics, who mocked him for finally respecting the law.
“I think every breath that man draws is an affront to decency, but I will give him kudos for accepting the law,” one citizen teased. “Way to go, you irredeemable piece of sh-t.”
However, another countered, “I haven’t seen him respect the law one time this whole term.” Others called him “delusional” for claiming everyone wanted him to be president for a third term, even though his approval ratings say otherwise.

As The Blast reported, while giving his address, Trump said he intended to run for a “fourth time,” after which he unveiled a red “Trump 2028” baseball cap.
Bragging about how great a leader he is, Trump told the press that he won the 2020 Election against Joe Biden, despite the facts.
“I won three times, now I’m going to do it again,” the 80-year-old proudly declared. He then took a jab at the media, saying his re-run would help ratings.
“To show just how much I care about the press, and because I want to save your ratings, I’m pleased to announce my intention to run for a fourth term as President of the United States.”
Fox News Host Dishes On ‘Trump 2028’ Hats
4Following the unveiling of the campaign merch, Fox News host Jessica Tarlov opened up about the president’s agenda and how he tried to bring her on board.
The correspondent explained that people often told her she would be charmed by Trump’s persona. However, an experience she had with him last year proved otherwise.
“For Christmas, for instance, he customized Trump 2028 hats for me, and you know said something like, ‘Thank you for your great support.’ And I get it that it’s funny for a cheap laugh,” Tarlov recalled, per The Blast.
However, the host wasn’t buying the humorous approach, warning that Trump could go to great lengths to achieve power. Hence, she wasn’t interested in “playing nice.”

4Amid the chatter about an extra term, Trump’s current term is facing major resistance from Democrats planning a takeover.
According to The Blast, the opposition is laying the groundwork to launch an investigation, particularly into the ventures, contractors, and financial entities linked to him.
Suspicions continue to rise that Trump is using his second term to line his pockets like never before. Sources say Democratic powerhouses are looking forward to making their probe if they take control of the chamber majority by sweeping the upcoming November midterm elections.
If findings from the investigation reveal evidence of Trump committing crimes of embezzlement or more, then an impeachment is definitely on the cards. It will be Trump’s third impeachment if the opposition’s plans go through.
