U-23 Eagles: Chelle appoints two assistants for Olympic Eagles

Super Eagles Head Coach, Eric Chelle has appointed the duo of Bright Osehai Ozebagbe and Deniran Ortega as his two assistant coaches for the U-23 team.

Bright Ozebagbe is currently the technical adviser of Ikorodu City, while Ortega is one of the best young coaches in Nigeria.

Ortega, who is a UEFA licensed coach, trained by the Scottish Football Association, is also one of the assistant coaches with the Flying Eagles.

The U-23 Eagles are expected to open camp in Abuja soon, ahead of the team’s qualifiers for the 2028 Olympic Games slated for Los Angeles, USA.

Nigeria last qualified for the football event of the Olympic Games in 2016.

The Olympic Eagles will face either Mauritania or Democratic Republic of Congo in a second round qualifying fixture in November.
