A heartbreaking video of Rute Cardoso, wife of late Liverpool star Diogo Jota, in tears as she left his funeral home has gone viral, stirring emotional reactions online.
Jota and his brother André Silva tragically died in a car crash on July 3 while driving in Spain.
Their vehicle reportedly burst a tyre while overtaking, veered off the road, and caught fire.
The funeral took place in Gondomar, the town where Jota and Rute met as teenagers. A private wake was held at São Cosme Chapel, attended by close family, friends, and football figures including Jorge Mendes and FC Porto president André Villas-Boas. The town declared July 4 a day of mourning in their honour.
