Iguma was initially arrested and detained at Panti Police Station on Wednesday after accusing real estate company, PWAN, of allegedly defrauding its customers.

In a new development shared via Instagram on Thursday, Nigerian singer Kokopee revealed through a video that Iguma has now been remanded in prison until Monday.

Kokopee stated, “I’m here in Ikoyi, sadly Scott has been remanded till Monday. He has been remanded for fighting for people. You have a problem with the way he has done it? Did he kill someone? Did he commit a crime? In Lagos I thought they said defamation is not a crime?”

Earlier on Monday, Iguma had taken to Instagram to make serious claims against the company. He posted: “PWAN sells receipts for customers instead of land. I was at the EFCC again yesterday to submit another 25 petitions against PWAN. So we now have a total of 130 petitions from customers that have been sent to the EFCC against PWAN. And we have about 30 victims that we have not filed their petition. Day after day, more victims are still coming to my DM and telling me the atrocities that they have gone through.”
