Woman who left boyfriend to die in zipped suitcase during hide-and-seek game sentenced to life imprisonment

A woman based in Florida has been slapped with life imprisonment for the death of her boyfriend who she claims cheated on her.

The woman in her mid-30s known as Boone zipped and trapped her boyfriend in a suitcase for many hours causing his death.

She revealed to the Policce that they were having fun on February 23, 2020 when her boyfriend, Torres jumped into the suitcase as part of their hide-and-seek game.

Jokingly, she zipped the suitcase up.

Boone was charged with m*rder after it was discovered through phone videos showing Torres screaming from inside the suitcase that he is unable to breathe and repeatedly called her name to unzip him.

“Yeah, that’s what you do when you ch*ke me,” Boone said in one of the cellphone videos from that night, according to the arrest report. “Oh, that’s what I feel like when you cheat on me.”

According to a criminal complaint, after they quarelled there, she thought she could get himself out so she walked upstairst to sleep.

The next morning, she found out that her boyfriend was still trapped inside the suitcase and had passed on.

There she placed a distress call to 911.
