Nigerian football fans are enjoying the historic 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title won by the Super Falcons, Soccernet.ng reports. 

Following this, President Bola Tinubu has announced $100,000 cash, a national honor (OON), and a 3-bedroom apartment for each Super Falcons player after their WAFCON 2024 victory,

Also, this has sparked a playful social media banter between Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface and now-Bay FC forward, Asisat Oshoala.

What Boniface Said To Asisat Oshoala

Taking to Instagram, Boniface reposted an image of Asisat Oshoala in her WAFCON 2024 Champions shirt with her gold medal proudly displayed.

He tagged the former Barcelona Femeni star and cheekily asked for him to drop his bank details to receive a share of what was awarded to the players.

“@asisat_oshoala Hwfa make I drop acct for small tinx” with a grin, he wrote on his IG status.

He followed up with a second slide, humorously captioned: “Them for add I for the back. Make you turn Ooni” when Oshoala replied his initial post with “Beeeeeggggg meee. Talk to me nice, I b OON now”

Super Falcons Complete ‘Mission X’ in Style

The Super Falcons put up a dominant display at the 2024 WAFCON, going unbeaten and securing their 10th continental title.
