Details emerge as Uzodimma leads governors, ministers to welcome Super Falcons [VIDEO]

The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma is at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja to welcome the players under the Super Falcons team.

The Nigerian female football team is expected in the capital city following their victorious outing against their counterparts from Morocco in the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Anticipating the arrival of the football team, Uzodimma is leading other governors including Uba Sani of Kaduna and AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq of Kwara state to welcome the team.

Several other ministers are also at the airport anticipating the arrival of the Super Falcons.

From the airport, the team is expected to head straight to the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja where they will be meeting with President Bola Tinubu.

It is also expected that the team would go on a city show around the capital city upon their return.

Politics Nigeria gathered that the Super Falcons will use the opportunity to showcase their trophy to the residents of Abuja.

Some of the locations listed as part of the road show include the Airport Road and the Wuse Market area.
