A video circulating on social media has sparked outrage in Nigeria after showing a businessman printing LG logos on more than 3,000 fake television cartons.
The footage shows numerous 45- and 55-inch TV cartons, with a man manually stamping the LG brand.
A voiceover in the video said: “So, yesterday I was in Alaba… and I came across this guy printing LG logo on all this new TV.”
The narrator added that he saw over 3,000 cartons of counterfeit televisions in the shop.
The video has warned potential buyers in Alaba international Market, Lagos, to be cautious, especially regarding LG products, as many may be fake.

Mixed Reactions from Nigerians
The clip has generated widespread discussion, with many Nigerians expressing concern over counterfeit products.
HAK commented: “Nigeria and India almost have the same mentality when it comes to scamming. Some don’t have any appreciation for honest living.”
OG Swankie said: “Bro, this happens in my hood wella. But who am I to question their audacity? They stay affluent doing it.”

Godfather expressed alarm at the growing trend of counterfeiting: “These people will be the end of Nigeria if nothing is done to stop them. From fake medicine to fake drinks, fake car parts, and now fake TVs. What else won’t they adulterate and counterfeit at this rate?”
