Afrobeats singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has reportedly passed away.
The news of his death was confirmed on Sunday, January 18, 2025, by popular Instagram investigative journalist, Temilola Sobola, via a social media post.
Announcing the singer’s demise, Sobola wrote, “Singer Destiny Boy has passed away. May his soul Rest In Peace🕊️.”
As of the time of filing this report, there is no verified information regarding the cause of Destiny Boy’s death.
Recall that in November 2024, Entertainment Region reported that the young singer had welcomed his first child at the age of 20.
Earlier in March 2024, Destiny Boy also made headlines after reportedly proposing to his lover with a diamond ring said to be worth millions of naira.
The sudden death of the fast-rising artiste has come as a shock to fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, with many taking to social media to express grief and pay tribute to him.
