Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has stated that he neither owns a house nor land in Abuja and has no plans to acquire any, explaining that accumulating property often brings unnecessary stress.

Obi, speaking at a public event, emphasised that having multiple assets can become more of a burden than a benefit.

I don’t have a house or a land in Abuja. I’m not even preparing to have, because I don’t need it. The more you have all these things, the more headache you have,” he said.

The politician’s remarks have sparked a range of reactions online, with some praising his apparent contentment and others questioning his transparency regarding property ownership.
