A Nigerian lady has stirred heated reactions online after making a bold and controversial statement, warning married women about treating their husbands well, or risk losing them.
According to her, many women like her are financially comfortable but painfully single, and that pain, she says, can push people to do the unthinkable.
“People like us have money but we don’t have husbands and we’re pained,” she said.
The lady went further to caution married women who she believes do not value their husbands enough, claiming she would not hesitate to “borrow” another woman’s husband if given the chance.
“If you have a husband and you don’t know his value, I will collect him from you. You will just hear that I borrowed your husband for two weeks,” she added.
She concluded by advising wives to treat their husbands “like kings” and give them the respect they deserve, or risk losing them to women like her who are watching from the sidelines.
Her statement quickly went viral, drawing widespread reactions. One user wrote, “So because you’re single and rich, another woman’s marriage should suffer?” Another commented, “This is not boldness, this is entitlement and lack of boundaries.”
However, a few others argued that the comment reflects the emotional frustration many single women feel but are afraid to express publicly.
