VDM claims DSS questioned activist about him, shares arrival details ahead of return to Nigeria

Social media activist Verydarkman has alleged that activist Livinus Nwosu was questioned about him during his reported detention by the Department of State Services (DSS).

In a video shared online, VDM claimed that after Nwosu’s release, the activist informed him that security operatives allegedly asked questions about his whereabouts and sought information regarding his return to Nigeria.

He further alleged that Nwosu was asked to write down the names of VDM and Tunde Ednut as individuals sponsoring voter registration awareness and civic sensitisation campaigns.

According to VDM, the allegations were contained in messages he received from Nwosu following his release.

The activist also disclosed details of his planned return to Nigeria, sharing information about his flight to Abuja while stating that he was not afraid of being arrested if authorities wished to question him.

His words …

“Livinus Nwosu has been released but there’s a problem, he sent me some messages after his release from DSS custody, according to the message, DSS picked him up because of me and they are trying to find out when I will be back in Nigeria, they also asked livinus to write my name and Tunde Ednut name on a paper as sponsors preaching to the masses on voters card registration and sensitisation”
