Candace Owens Demands $500K To Debate Andrew Wilson Over Charlie Kirk Case

Candace Owens has responded to Andrew Wilson’s call for a debate about Charlie Kirk‘s case.

For months since Kirk’s death, Owens has promoted several conspiracy theories about the right-wing influencer’s death, which Wilson now appears determined to challenge.

However, she has stated that she requires $500,000 from him to agree to the debate, along with his agreement to several other demands.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Owens shared her conditions for agreeing to a debate with Wilson over Charlie Kirk.

Wilson had previously offered the podcaster $300,000 to debate her over the conspiracy theories she has promoted about Kirk during an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

In response, Owens claimed Wilson does not strike her as someone who has such an amount lying around, leading her to believe that he is likely being backed by Turning Point USA, the organization Kirk ran before his assassination.

She then raised the offer to $500,000 for her to agree, claiming that Turning Point USA had raised “$40 million in one night off of Charlie’s blood,” a statement referring to a fundraising event held following Kirk’s death.

After her first counteroffer, Owens introduced a more personal condition as part of her requirements for following through with the debate.

“If you fancy a debate face-to-face, you’re going to have to travel to me. It’s common decency,” she said, pointing to her seven-month pregnancy as the reason.

She also proposed that the debate have no time limit and be conducted live, allowing both sides to present documents and evidence. She added that her team would be available to provide links and pause the proceedings if additional evidence needed to be located.

Addressing another personal condition, she told her opponent, “You’re not going to be chain-smoking around me, tough guy.”

“So, you’re just going to have to bring yourself and leave your cigs at home,” she added. “And this is actually, I would say, the most important part for me.”

Elsewhere in her rant, Owens name-dropped top Turning Point USA officials Blake Neff and Andrew Kovette, as well as Kirk’s ex-wife, Erica Kirk.

She claimed that either of the trio must endorse Wilson before she agrees to the debate and cited her opponent’s alleged association with the nonprofit.

“Third part here, either Blake Neff, Andrew Kovette, or Erica Kirk must publicly claim you first, meaning they must say that they are sending you in to debate on their behalf regarding the Charlie Kirk case,” Owens emphasized.

She added, “Okay. No worming away after the fact. They don’t get to be, ‘Oh, we don’t really know this guy.’ Whatever. They’re boosting you. You’re at the headquarters teaching people how to debate.”

The back-and-forth between Owens and Wilson continued on X, where Wilson claimed that some of the conditions Owens had set were unfair.

Owens responded with a sarcastic remark about why Wilson suddenly believed he was not being treated fairly before going into detail about a debate she had with 20 feminists via Jubilee.

“I did not get to set the terms, or bring in my own team for live fact-checks, and yet I managed to get through it with less whining than you right now. I never once described it as ‘unfair’ or as a ‘lion’s den,’” the podcaster said, referencing the debate.

“Would you like us to provide lunch? How can we make this debate more cushiony for you so you don’t pretend it’s somehow unfair at the outset?” she added.

Netizens took a swipe at Wilson over his claims while supporting Owens and predicting she would emerge victorious if a debate does occur.

“He’s a joke and sounds scared. He has a week to train aggressively while you sit on your couch wrapped in a blanket sipping tea…and you will still crush him. Hahahaha,” one wrote.

“He has no idea the can of whop a-s and embarrassment he is about to endure from the battle bun team. That’s what he gets for not watching your podcast and just listening to TPUSA critiques against you,” another individual commented.
