In a surprising move, Spencer Pratt is shifting his political ambitions toward revitalizing the entertainment industry.

Ever since the 42-year-old media figure suffered a heavy defeat in the Los Angeles mayoral race, he has made it known that he will not back down in inspiring positive change however he can.

Pratt is now lobbying for federal policy changes, hoping to incentivize studios to keep production jobs within the United States with the help of none other than Donald Trump.

Sharing an update on Instagram, the “The Hills” alum was captured in a photograph alongside the president following a meeting at Trump’s golf club.

Pratt disclosed that their conversation centered around a proposal for a 25% federal tax incentive designed to boost domestic media production.

“Working with the President on a 25% FEDERAL film tax credit to bring back Hollywood,” he wrote.

Taking aim at California state leadership, Pratt criticized Governor Gavin Newsom’s administration for allowing jobs to move to international hubs such as Hungary. He asserted that “the adults in the room are actually trying to repatriate the most quintessential American industry”.

Pratt’s Oval Office meeting came weeks after he received public support from Trump, during the surprising ballot count that led to his Mayoral loss.

A late shift in vote tallies dramatically pushed Pratt out of a runoff position. This sparked immediate backlash from Trump and prominent conservative commentators, who raised questions over the sudden change, as reported by The Blast.

Trump issued scathing criticisms online, claiming the election process was being manipulated to benefit progressive candidates. Writing on Truth Social, he accused Democrats of cheating Republican candidates and warned of broader political consequences.
