Sporting Lagos head coach, Jeffrey Buter has lamented his team’s home draw against Barau FC, DAILY POST reports.
Buter’s side battled Barau FC to a 1-1 draw in their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday six encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Saturday.
Barau FC took the lead through Joseph Atule’s goal from the spot on the stroke of half-time after Stanley Oganbor was fouled in the box.
Sodiq Ayoade restored parity for Sporting Lagos in the second half.

Buter said his team deserved more from the keenly contested encounter.
“Yeah, disappointing, like you said. I think we deserved more than a draw. We should have won this game,” Buter told the club’s media.
“I think another day, the officiating is better. I think we will get maximum points from this game. I am happy with the fight and courage.”
Sporting Lagos will face Ikorodu City in the local derby in their next game.
