Nnamdi Kanu held unjustly – Sen Nwoko

The lawmaker representing Delta North Senatorial District, Ned Nwoko, had said that the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, is being held unjustly.

Nwoke made this statement in an interview on Sunday Politics, a programme on Channels Television monitored by DAILY POST.

Recall that the pro-Biafra leader has been in detention since 2021 after he was repatriated from Kenya.

He has been appearing severally in court over alleged treason and recently, he sacked all his legal team, saying he would defend himself in court.

Reacting, the Delta State lawmaker said, ”Nnamdi Kanu had been in custody for some time now. I believe Nnamdi Kanu has been held unjustly. His incarceration is the main reason for the crisis in the Southeast.”
