Chelsea continued their strong run in the Premier League with a 2-0 away win over Burnley at Turf Moor. Goals from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez secured the victory, marking Chelsea’s third consecutive league win without conceding.
The first goal came in the 37th minute when Neto met a perfect cross from Jamie Gittens to head Chelsea into the lead. Neto nearly doubled the lead later, hitting the post, while Burnley’s goalkeeper Martin Dubravka made key saves to keep his side in the game.
Chelsea’s dominance continued, and in the final minutes, Fernandez sealed the win with a close-range strike after a clever build-up involving Neto and substitute Marc Guiu.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, celebrating his 50th Premier League game in charge, made four changes to the starting lineup, including Reece James and Tosin Adarabioyo in defense and Andrey Santos in midfield. Santos impressed with several crucial defensive blocks in the first half.
Burnley had their chances, with Zian Flemming missing the best opportunity, but the Clarets were unable to find the net. Chelsea’s solid defense and smart counterattacks ensured all three points.
With this win, Chelsea move up to second place in the Premier League table ahead of the weekend fixtures. They now turn their attention to a big week at Stamford Bridge, hosting Barcelona on Tuesday and league leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
