Nigerian soldiers held in Burkina Faso arrive Ghana

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, has said that Nigerian soldiers released by Burkina Faso have arrived at an Air Force base in Accra, Ghana.

DAILY POST reports that the Burkina Faso junta had detained the soldiers after their aircraft made a forced landing in the Sahelian country.

Recall that Burkina Faso has released a Nigerian Air Force aircraft and 11 personnel.

The Nigerian Air Force C-130 aircraft, carrying 11 personnel on a ferry mission to Portugal, made a forced landing in Bobo-Dioulasso following technical issues two weeks ago.
