Farooq Oreagba, Managing Director and CEO of NG Clearing Limited, has captivated audiences once again with his grand return to the Ojude Oba Festival—almost a year after his flamboyant 2024 appearance went viral.
The Ojude Oba Festival, a tradition that dates back to the 19th century, remains a significant celebration for the Ijebu people, who gather annually to honour their monarch, the Awujale of Ijebuland.
Each year, the city of Ijebu Ode bursts into life with dazzling displays of Yoruba culture. Age-grade groups known as regberegbe take to the streets in elaborate traditional attire, performing cultural dances in a colourful parade. Horse-riding contests, drumming, and artistic showcases add to the spectacle, making the festival one of Nigeria’s most dynamic cultural gatherings.
Oreagba rose to online fame in 2024 after a video of him riding a horse with effortless charm—cigar in one hand, reins in the other—earned him the nickname “Mr Steeze” across social media platforms.

At this year’s edition, held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, the 58-year-old made yet another unforgettable entrance.
He shared photos on Instagram on Saturday, revealing a regal outfit consisting of a luxurious brown and grey agbada and sokoto, completed with a matching cap.
To finish the look, he adorned himself with striking silver jewellery, including a Cuban link chain, bracelet, and a black staff crowned with a lion-headed sceptre.
He captioned one of his posts, “The King Of Steeze is back!! Did you miss me? #KingOfSteeze #OjudeOba2025 #Steeze”
