Onyeka Onwenu to be laid to rest in Lagos today

Veteran Nigerian singer Onyeka Onwenu, popularly known as the “Elegant Stallion,” is set to be laid to rest today in Lagos.

Onyeka Onwenu reportedly passed away on July 30 at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja, shortly after performing at the birthday celebration of Dr. Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

The funeral service, organized by her family, will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos.

The ceremony will commence with a Service of Songs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
