Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has warned Arsenal ahead of both sides’ UEFA Champions League semi-final clash on Tuesday.

Enrique said he will not give Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta any clues ahead of the encounter.

He also warned Arsenal that PSG’s French Ligue 1 defeat to Nice on Friday night will not alter their ambition of reaching the Champions League final and, possibly, winning it.

Enrique’s side were crowned Ligue 1 champions earlier this month.

However, their hopes of finishing the domestic season unbeaten for the first time in their history are now over after they were beaten 3-1 by Nice at home.

“First of all, I would like to congratulate Nice. They were 100 per cent efficient, they came close to our goal once in the first half, and they scored,” Enrique said at his post-match interview after the game.

“Our goal was to continue breaking records, and that one won’t be possible [PSG’s unbeaten record]. But that doesn’t change our goal of reaching the Champions League final.

“We are the best team in France, by far. We proved it. We have to be brave now and think about winning the Champions League.”

When asked why he fielded a full-strength side, Enrique replied: “Draw whatever conclusions you want from that. I’m not going to give any clues to Arteta.”
