Ademola Lookman is keen on leaving Atalanta this summer, with only Inter Milan set on his mind…
2010 UEFA Champions League winners Inter Milan are preparing a new bid for Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nerazzuri have already agreed to personal terms with the 27-year-old to move to San Siro on a five-year deal that’ll see him earn €4m annually.
However, La Dea wants to keep him in Bergamo beyond the summer of 2026, and have already offered him a new deal which he rejected.
Atalanta rejected Inter’s first offer of €40m and are holding out for a fee in excess of around €50m to let the 2024 CAF Player of the Year join the Serie A giants.

Inter set to launch new offer for Lookman
As per FCInterNews, Christian Chivu’s side are set to make a decisive new bid for the former RB Leipzig man tomorrow.
The UEFA Champions League finalists have made the 27-year-old versatile attacker their primary target despite doubts from their former captain.
While Atalanta wants €50m for Lookman, Inter’s new offer will be around €45 million with add-ons. It could be €43 million up front, plus a couple of million more in add-ons.
The Nerazzurri are hoping that by essentially splitting the difference between their initial bid and Atalanta’s counteroffer, they can wrap things up quickly.

Furthermore, Inter will make the offer based on a permanent sale, rather than a loan with a purchase option like their first bid.
The plan is to submit a bid tomorrow when all parties involved meet before the Lega Serie A assembly.
Inter are hopeful their improved offer will be accepted by Atalanta, largely because the player is willing to force a move as well.

However, if an agreement is reached tomorrow, Inter might pull out of the deal completely, leaving Lookman stranded in the transfer market after he rejected other clubs.
