According to the man, he met the woman in 2022 during the NASPA conference, and their friendship soon grew into a relationship.
He said he was 28 at the time, while she was 27, describing her as a quiet church girl with strong values and few friends.
He claimed he adjusted his lifestyle to align with her beliefs, hoping it would strengthen their bond and lead to marriage.
