Troops have recovered three motorcycles during a security operation in Kaduna State.

The development was disclosed in a post shared on X on Sunday by security analyst Zagazola Makama.

According to the post, the operation was carried out by troops of Sector 7 under Operation Enduring Peace during a fighting patrol in Jema’a Local Government Area.

Security sources said the patrol took place in the early hours of Saturday at about 1:40 am, as part of an ongoing effort to track down fleeing criminal elements in the area.

The troops moved through the Dogo Fili Forest, which is believed to be a hideout for suspected criminals.

“During the operation, troops recovered three motorcycles believed to have been abandoned by the criminals on sighting the advancing forces,” a source said.

The recovered motorcycles are now in the custody of the troops for further action.

Authorities confirmed that the operation is part of continued efforts to limit the movement of criminal groups and weaken their activities in Kaduna State.
