The All Progressives Congress (APC) Kano Central Senatorial District Senate aspirant, Abdulkareem Abdussalam Zaura, popularly known as AA Zaura, has said that the party is battle-ready for victory in the state.
“In Kano, we are battle ready and we have a very strong team at the helm of party affairs. We shall come back here just like we are here now to celebrate APC success from top to bottom,” AA Zaura said while receiving support for his senatorial ambition on Sunday.
He said, “We are here today to say we are ready for a contest under the most powerful and most influential party in the country, I call it APC Pro Max. The APC of today, we all know, is not the same as yesterday. God willing, we have all it takes to make a difference and we shall succeed.”
The APC state chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, said, “The calibre of people I see in this entourage are exceptional. People that are trustworthy and reliable in grassroots politics.
“We will ensure that we do the needful, for someone who has quality and integrity must not be left out.”
He added, “All party members, I assure all of you that, God willing, we will coast to victory in this party, this is a party I have seen that has the highest chance of winning elections.
“We have already achieved nine out of 10 issues to win the election. If you are not in the APC you are on your own, a loser already.”
