A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congres, NDC, Buba Galadima, has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of destroying the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, and Labour Party, LP, platforms on which Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso contested for the presidency.
Galadima disclosed this while speaking on why Obi and Kwankwaso left the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
He maintained that the ruling APC is allergic to democratic competition.
According to Galadima: “The government of the day and the ruling party have gone to town to destroy all political parties.
“They destroyed the NNPP and LP, on which both Kwankwaso and Peter Obi ran in 2023.
“The APC wants to assure itself that the only way it can win elections is to have a single candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; they are allergic to democratic competition.”
