Nigerian music star Davido drew attention to the plight of abducted schoolchildren and teachers from Oyo State by wearing a customised jacket bearing their names and the message “Bring Them Home” before performing at the FIFA World Cup.

The gesture was widely interpreted as a show of solidarity with the victims and their families amid ongoing concerns over their safety.
