According to Wizkid, he spent between $300 and $400 every day over that period just to enjoy Nigerian meals.

Despite his global fame and luxury lifestyle, the singer described himself as “a local boy,” adding that his preference for Nigerian food has remained unchanged.

He said …

“I only eat Nigerian food everywhere I go. I got bored staying in the USA for 2 years because I wasn’t getting Nigerian food as much as I wanted.

I used to spend $300 to $400 every single day for 2 years in the US just to have a taste of Nigerian food. I’m a local boy o. Forget all this Louis Vuitton Gucci stuff. I love what I love you know. You can take the boy out of the ghetto but you cannot take the ghetto out of the boy”
