A Nigerian man has shared a shocking story about a boy who went missing for ten years after his mother handed him over to a church member for a brief moment.
According to his post on the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the boy, now ten years old, was dropped off at a church years after his mother entrusted him to a church member when he was just two years old.
The incident reportedly occurred in 2012 when the mother handed her son to a church member so she could step outside to buy something.
When she returned, both the boy and the church member were nowhere to be found. Despite her efforts to locate them over the years, she had no success.
Recently, after a decade of searching, the now-ten-year-old boy was unexpectedly returned to the church where he originally went missing.
The man wrote: “So, one woman gave someone her 2-year-old son in church to help her carry as she stepped outside to buy something in 2012. She came back and couldn’t find the woman nor the son. Ten years later, the son returned today…after being dropped by someone in front of the same church. Omo!”
